Off Road Racing Concepts in Fourways have lost the plot! They are selling GAERNE SG10 boots for R4900 VAT included.
Rush over to : 25 Cedar Ave, Fourways or call them on (011) 465 0871 ( ask for me , Adam, before my boss realises what I am up to ).

I was in Off Road Racing Concepts yesterday and was bleak to see Gaerne SG10 boots for R4900 because I imported a pair from BTO Sports (http://www.btosports.co.za) last week under the pretense that I'd be saving a fair bit of cash because the pricing I had seen at other bike stores in JHB was around R6000! So shamefully, I didn't support the local guys and bought them online. My cost breakdown looked like this:

Boots: R3000
Shipping: R500
Duties: R1500
Total: R5000

In summary an epic fail when our local guys are doing prices like this! You won't get these boots at this price locally or even if you import them, unless you know of some dodgy way to avoid the import duties. Personally I'll be supporting the local guys from now on... Clap to ORRC for not ripping us off! If ORRC can do this kind of pricing and I would hope still make some kind of profit on the sale it just shows you how other bike shops are taking the p1ss!

I picked up my bike from ORRC yesterday. It had a post run in service done:
- Monday madness special
- Jetting
- Check all nuts, bolts, spokes, and chain tension
- Mousses front and back
- Fitment of Hyde belly and exhaust guards
- Change stock spring for my Eibach progressive
- Route my breathers
- Set my sag when I went in to collect
- 25litre drum of Prepsol
- 4litres of Motul 800
- Spare spark plug, plus a plug change at the service, plus a plug for Numsch (I owed him one)

I will be partying and eating and living normally...  the bill, given what I bought and the labour required, was well within expectations. Thanks Ian and crew at ORRC!!!
